The  renovation of this 18,000 square foot general medicine and surgery wing included new low maintenance materials such as welded sheet flooring and quartz transaction counters at the new nurse stations. A self service visitor refreshment area was provided for guests and a cheerful color palette with carefully placed floor insets created better wayfinding and a peaceful environment for patients, visitors and staff alike.  Well detailed and thoughtful nurse station cabinets allow for efficiency and ergonomics. Glass pendant lights allow for a soft nighttime illumination for the nursing station. All patient rooms were improved to provide a better healing and care environment.
